This Is the Church
This Is ArchOmaha
The Church is a people generated by Jesus Christ, continually communicating His presence through the centuries and across the globe. This video helped us to begin our day-long celebration with a proper sense of our history.
"This is ArchOmaha" - a whirlwind tour of the people and places that make up our local Church

The Great Gathering

A solemn procession of Catholics of various ethnic groups and vocations represented the history and ongoing growth of the Church in our archdiocese.

The Main Event

11 panelists - ordinary Catholics from around our community - shared their testimonies over the course of 3 panels: Encountering Jesus, Equipping Disciples, and Living Mercy. MCs Calvin Mueller and Fr. Scott Hastings facilitated conversation, and Archbishop Lucas concluded the morning by giving his own witness on Christian unity and leading the crowd in prayers of Marian consecration.

Pentecost Mass

Archbishop George J. Lucas celebrated Mass on the Vigil of Pentecost with 120 priests of the archdiocese, joined by 70 deacons and thousands of the lay faithful.
